SARASOTA, Fla. – July 14, 2008 – Stroll through the Rizpoc, the newest arrival to the Rosemary District at 435 Central Avenue, while enjoying refreshments and browsing local shops and art galleries on Friday, July 25 from 5 – 9 p.m. during “An Emerald Evening.”
Proceeds from the event, donated by the vendors, will be given to the Sarasota Association of Realtors “Surge of Support” project, which benefits regional veterans and their families. This project’s goal is to raise $50,000 to help support local agencies who provide ongoing medical needs, housing and support to the service men and women who return home and begin rebuilding their lives.
During the course of the evening, the mystery behind the stand-out, emerald-colored building, Rizpoc, will be unveiled. This new mixed-use masterpiece will open to the public for a night of celebration. The six loft-style condominiums feature high-end finishes that define style and individuality. The four commercial spaces are a smashing summation to this growing historical area.
Attendees are invited to participate in a scavenger hunt for a chance to win great prizes. Some of the participating vendors include Tomboy Tools, Silpada Jewelry, Hot Rocks Jewelry, Sandra French Fine Art Glass, Divinia Jeans Chocolates, Judy’s Candles & Gifts, Mary Kay and Everything but the Girl Boutique, among others. There will also be live music.
