SKY Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to announce that Cheryl Loeffler, one of the most renowned and top-producing luxury real estate agents in Sarasota, has joined the firm. Loeffler is a longtime specialist in waterfront properties and has been selling real estate in Sarasota for more than 20 years.
“Within the real estate industry and our community, Cheryl has a reputation for excellence and a proven track record of success,” says Chad Roffers, President, SKY Sotheby’s International Realty. “We are privileged to have a talented and highly regarded agent, like Cheryl, join our team as we continue to grow and expand our business.”
Loeffler has been a consistent multi-million dollar producer throughout her career, achieving more than three quarters of a billion dollars in sales since 1986. She brings an extensive background in marketing and finance, combined with local real estate expertise, to the firm. Working with both residential and commercial clients, Loeffler is often involved with a project from its inception and enjoys planning the marketing and sales effort. She is also known for her strategic planning and strong negotiating skills, which have enabled Loeffler to act as the listing agent for a number of notable condominium projects in the area such as Grand Riviera, Serenata and the Atrium on Ringling.
Prior to joining SKY Sotheby’s International Realty, Loeffler worked for prominent real estate companies in Sarasota such as Prudential Palms Realty, most recently. During her time there, she was named the number one Prudential agent in Southwest Florida in 2005 and was ranked in the top one percent of Prudential sales professionals worldwide and listed in the Top 100 Prudential agents in the country.
However, it was while working for several years in the technology industry that Loeffler developed her strategic planning expertise and detail orientation. After earning her MBA at the University of Tulsa, Loeffler became the Assistant Provost in charge of strategic planning for the University and then became a partner of a computer consulting firm that analyzed, designed and implemented programs for doctors, lawyers and architects. Later on, she joined Williams Telecom as a Senior Systems Analyst, developing computer systems for fiber optic networks.
“Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from many talented and interesting people,” says Loeffler. “I found it was time to move on to the next step in my career, which for me is joining SKY Sotheby’s International Realty.”
Loeffler adds, “Focusing on my clients, along with offering the highest level of service and industry expertise is my top priority. SKY Sotheby’s International Realty values these priorities as well, and I am excited to join the firm and help it continue to elevate the standard of the luxury real estate market.”
In addition to her extensive professional experience, Loeffler has been a Sarasota Board of Realtors Mega Super Star for the last 20 years and regularly speaks at financial and real estate conferences across the country. She also has her GRI designation, is a Certified Fine Homes Specialist, Custom Client Specialist and e-Certified Agent. Loeffler is involved in the community as well. She is a director of Insignia Bank and an active board member of the Asolo Theatre Company and the Ringling School of Art and Design. Loeffler also sponsors a number of non-profit arts organizations, including the Sarasota Film Festival and the Sarasota County Arts Council, to name a few.
