With more than 55 years of combined real estate experience, the Hedge Team is comprised of Charlotte and Tom Hedge, their son, Tom Hedge Jr. and Monica Barth. They will work out of the Longboat Key office.

Previously, the Hedge Team worked with Michael Saunders & Company for 11 years. They specialize in all types of real estate, including waterfront condominiums and homes on barrier islands to lavish country club estates on the mainland and homes in the revitalized downtown Sarasota market.

Charlotte, a former fifth-grade teacher, has worked in the real estate industry for 20 years. Prior to moving to Sarasota 16 years ago, Charlotte was awarded New Jersey’s Realtor Associate of the Year. Currently, she holds the following designations: Graduate of the Realtor Institute, Certified Residential Specialist, Certified International Property Specialist (held by only one percent of Realtors in the world) and Leadership Training Graduate of the Women’s Council of Realtors.
Armed with a construction and environmental engineering background, Tom Sr. possesses an understanding of condominiums and commercial properties found throughout Sarasota. Prior to his 20-year real estate career, Tom owned an HVAC company for over 30 years in New Jersey. In addition to being a licensed Realtor, Tom is a licensed contractor and holds a condominium association management license, which he has used serving as president of the condominium association at Golden Gate Point.
Monica’s real estate career began with her mentor, Charlotte. She became a licensed Realtor in 1999, and prior to entering the industry she studied in Germany and Switzerland for hospitality management. She also speaks five languages, which equips her to help satisfy the real estate needs and desires of international clients. Monica is currently working toward her Certified International Property Specialist designation.
Tom Jr., also a licensed Realtor, worked at Michael Saunders & Company alongside his parents, Charlotte and Tom. An Air Force veteran with a degree in business, Tom rounds out the team with an outstanding technology background. He holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designation and is working towards his ePro designation.
