SARASOTA, Fla. – March 3, 2008 – Sales associate Heidi Pittman has joined SKY Sotheby’s International Realty. She will work out of the Osprey office, located at 1307 S. Tamiami Trail.
A licensed Realtor since 2002 and Michigan native, Pittman comes to SKY Sotheby’s International Realty after working for Keller Williams and Assist2Sell, both for two years. She specializes in residential waterfront properties and will partner with her husband, Troy Pittman, also a SKY Sotheby’s International Realty real estate agent.

All SKY Sotheby’s International Realty sales associates must: be ranked in the top 10 percent of the local real estate board, have average real estate transactions of $750,000 or more and list at least 12 properties every year.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Pittman worked for the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy sheriff for 14 years. She held a variety of positions including community policing, accreditation and field training officer. Pittman was the first female deputy to be placed within the traffic division, joining a team of eight elite patrol officers.
Outside of her real estate career, Pittman volunteers her time with the Animal Rescue Coalition, the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity. She has also completed the Honolulu Marathon, Marine Corp. Marathon, five half marathons and in 2007, a two-day, 39.3-mile race.
