Developer Leonard Garner has broken ground for the Atrium on Ringling project, a 2.2-acre condominium complex located at 1750 Ringling Blvd. The 18-story building will feature a luxurious two-story entrance lobby, retail amenities, three floors of secured parking and two floors of office space. Luxury residences will occupy floors 7-16, terrace homes on floor 17 and penthouse homes on floor 18. Its crowning feature: an 11-story atrium in the center of the octagonal tower.
Once completed, the Atrium on Ringling will boast a fully staffed fitness center with steam room, sauna and private massage facilities, an elegant board room with TV theatre and catering kitchen, a staffed and fax/Internet/copier-outfitted office/business center, heated pool, spa, rec deck, air conditioned storage units and 24-hour concierge/security staff. Also, the Atrium will feature Sarasota’s first condo safe room, a concrete enclosed, air-conditioned and disaster-safe shelter large enough to accommodate the entire building with food, water, plumbing and power supplied by a generator.
The Atrium on Ringling, LLC is the latest development from The Leonard Garner Group. Contracting the project is J.R.G. Development Corp. The architectural team behind the Atrium on Ringling is Sarasota-based Wm. Thorning Little Architects. Exclusive residential sales are managed by The Cheryl Loeffler Team / Sky Sotheby’s International Realty. John Harshman of Harshman & Company, Inc. manages exclusive commercial sales.
