Laurel Park Open House Attracts Homebuyers

More than 300 Realtors, guests and Laurel Park residents attended a recent “Get to Know Laurel Park” open house hosted by SKY Sotheby’s International Realty. Six homesites and two new homes sold shortly after the event, resulting in nearly $4 million in sales.

The historic downtown Sarasota neighborhood, bordered by Ringling Boulevard to the north, Mound Street to the south, Osprey Avenue to the east and Orange Avenue to the west, is undergoing a major transformation. The neighborhood’s 1930’s historically significant bungalows are being restored and single family homes constructed with the same architectural esthetic. Covered front porches and verandas, brick walks and driveways, white picket fences, hardwood floors and other elements are just a few of the historical touches featured in the new Laurel Park homes.

Laurel Park offers single-family living within walking distance of downtown shopping, dining and cultural venues. SKY currently has a waiting list of interested homebuyers and is taking reservations for a new phase of homesites, which will be available early next year. Prices begin in the high $200,000s for a homesite and high $600,000s for home/homesite packages.

An independently owned and operated real estate firm specializing in the luxury residential market, SKY Sotheby's International Realty offers platinum-level customer service to its clients through powerful global marketing and referral services and innovative technology.
