To strengthen the company's leadership position in the market, luxury real estate brokerage firm SKY Sotheby's International Realty has announced that Michelle Burke-Phillips will join the company as vice president.
Burke-Phillips brings more than 25 years of experience in real estate sales and marketing to SKY Sotheby's and will lead the firm's residential and new homes sales associates. In addition, she will team with Brandyn Herbold, CEO, and Chad Roffers, President, as they continue to elevate the company's expertise in luxury real estate.
Herbold and Roffers will maintain their leadership roles with the company helping to capitalize on the company's expanded local footprint, including South Sarasota and Longboat Key, as well as continuing to develop innovative results-oriented marketing and sales programs that help buyers and sellers of luxury real estate.
"Adding Michelle to our firm is a key part of our quest to raise the bar of excellence in this market," says Roffers. "Her proven track record of success in leading and supporting some of the best realtors in our marketplace will help us grow our company and take our firm to a higher level, benefiting both our agents and clients."
Burke-Phillips is a veteran of the Southwest Florida real estate market and has been a licensed real estate broker for more than 20 years. Before joining SKY Sotheby's, she was the executive vice president of sales and marketing for Lee Wetherington Homes (Sarasota), where she was also responsible for new product development, new communities and oversight of the Wetherington Design Center. Prior to working in the new homes arena, Burke-Phillips was the managing broker of the Naples Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Services Offices and served as the vice president of residential sales for Michael Saunders & Company, one of Sarasota's largest real estate companies.
"Top Realtors continue to show interest in joining our company. Now through the added benefit of Michelle's expertise, we have significantly enhanced our ability to offer world-class support to top agents in the area," says Herbold. "With Michelle on board, this is an excellent opportunity to grow our business."
SKY Sotheby's recruits and supports the top realtors in the area with qualification criteria such as consistently listing 12 properties every year, achieving an average sales transaction above $750,000 and accomplishing sales results that place them in the top 10 percent of the local real estate board. Each agent is also an owner in SKY Sotheby's and has access to Sotheby's worldwide network of affiliate offices and global marketing resources, connecting them with qualified buyers and sellers.
"I'm delighted to join the SKY Sotheby's team," says Burke-Phillips. "I was attracted to them because of the strong leadership and vision that both Chad and Brandyn provide, the affiliation with Sotheby's and the opportunity to help propel this firm and its agents to even greater accomplishments."
In addition to her diverse real estate background and sales experience, Burke-Phillips is involved with several professional organizations, such as the National Association of Realtors-Naples Area and the Sarasota Board of Realtors, where she was on the Board of Directors. A former director of the Sarasota County Arts Council, she recently served on the Board of Directors of the Sarasota Film Festival. Burke-Phillips is also a Candidate for County Court Mediator, governed by the Supreme Court of Florida.
