Branching Out: Sky Sotheby’s International Realty to Open Two New Offices

In response to significant client demand, luxury real estate brokerage firm, SKY Sotheby’s International Realty, has announced that the company will open new locations in Osprey and Longboat Key.

The Osprey facility opened the week of May 8th and is located at the corner of Blackburn Point Road and US 41 at 1307 S. Tamiami Trail; the Longboat Key facility, located at 4134 Gulf of Mexico Drive, will open this summer. The main headquarters will remain in downtown Sarasota at 1237 N. Gulfstream Avenue.

The new offices are in areas where current and prospective customers of SKY Sotheby’s consistently express interest, especially Longboat and Casey Keys.

According to Chad Roffers, President of SKY Sotheby’s, “Our customers expect us to have a strong presence in these areas, and our new locations will enhance our ability to serve our target audience by complimenting our significant global reach with a strong local footprint.”

“As the exclusive Sotheby’s affiliate in Manatee and Sarasota Counties, we felt that expanding and opening new branch locations was another great way to serve our customers,” adds Brandyn Herbold, CEO, SKY Sotheby’s. “We plan to open branch offices in other high-demand areas in the near future.”

“Chad, Brandyn and the entire SKY Sotheby’s International Realty team have quickly built up a strong reputation for being Sarasota’s premier luxury real estate firm,” said Michael R. Good, president & CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates, Inc. “This expansion is terrific news for those seeking high quality realty services for spectacular homes in and around Longboat Key and Osprey.”

Approximately ten hand-picked agents will staff each of the new branch offices based on their geographic expertise and passion for the communities they serve. Each agent must meet SKY Sotheby’s industry leading standards of performance including performing in the top ten percent of the local association of realtors and consistently securing average transaction values two times the market average. As an associate-owned firm, the agents of SKY Sotheby’s will benefit from the new office expansions as well.

“At SKY Sotheby’s, we are dedicated to helping our agents deliver market leadership in their productivity and client satisfaction,” says Roffers. “We know that our expanded footprint will allow us to build on our proven track record of partnering with the best and brightest realtors in the market by helping them differentiate themselves in a crowded landscape.”

In addition to the new branch offices, SKY Sotheby’s also recently announced that they have launched two new business divisions in response to overwhelming client and market demand: New Homes and Commercial Real Estate. The new offices and new business divisions are a result of the company’s financial success. In the first quarter of 2006, SKY Sotheby’s doubled its sales from the same quarter in 2005 and expects to hit $440 million this year.
