SKY Sotheby’s International Realty, the Sarasota-based luxury real estate brokerage firm, today announced that the Leonard Garner Group, developer of The Atrium on Ringling, a luxury condominium development in downtown Sarasota, has selected the firm to manage sales of the project. The Cheryl Loeffler Team at SKY Sotheby’s will handle the account with the sales team consisting of Stephen and Vanessa Carns, Peg Ross Davant and Jane Weil.
The Atrium on Ringling is a mixed-use project located on a 2.2 acre site at 1750 Ringling Boulevard and recently received all necessary permits to begin demolition in early February. The current sales center, which is located on the project site, will move to a new, larger location at 123 Pineapple Avenue later this month.
“We are pleased to be associated with a respected and experienced individual like Leonard Garner and this exceptional project,” says Chad Roffers, President, SKY Sotheby’s International Realty. “The Atrium on Ringling will be an amazing place to call home.”
“The marriage of this prestigious project with the esteemed Sotheby’s name is wonderful,” says Leonard Garner, Principal, the Leonard Garner Group. “This is one of the most exciting projects that I’ve ever created, so selecting SKY Sotheby’s International Realty to handle the sales of The Atrium on Ringling was a significant decision.”
The 17-story project is comprised of 40,000 square feet of office space along with 88 two-, three- and four-bedroom condominium residences ranging from 2,339 – 3,052 square feet with pricing starting in the $800s. Known for its unique architectural design, The Atrium on Ringling’s residential tower is octagon in shape, providing breathtaking views and making every residence feel like a corner unit. Located in downtown Sarasota with close proximity to the distinctive Laurel Park, Burns Square and Towles Court neighborhoods, residents will enjoy a sophisticated urban blend of downtown activity from art galleries to theatres to fine dining and shopping.
“The Atrium on Ringling offers residents the chance to live, work and play in Sarasota’s vibrant downtown,” says Loeffler, sales associate, SKY Sotheby’s International Realty. “In addition to living near so many recreational and entertainment options, residents will appreciate the project’s outstanding amenities and design features.”
Distinctive amenities that The Atrium on Ringling will offer include a fifth-floor amenity level with a resort-style pool, spa and oversized recreational sun deck; fully-staffed fitness center with sauna, steam room and private massage facilities; an elegant board room equipped with a TV theatre and catering kitchen; and a staffed and outfitted business center for residents. Other amenities offered are 24-hour concierge/security, guest suite accommodations, secure parking and air-conditioned storage units.
Residence features include gourmet kitchens, custom wood cabinets, marble or ceramic tile flooring, high ceilings and terraces, among others. A unique building feature of The Atrium on Ringling also available to residents is a concrete-enclosed, air-conditioned “safe room” that can accommodate 150 people, served by a generator and complete with full plumbing services.
Designed by local architect Thorning Little, the project is expected to be completed by early fall 2008.
