Tengerdy, Lancaster and Brinkley join SKY Sotheby's

SKY Sotheby’s International Realty, the Sarasota-based luxury real estate brokerage, announced today that three new sales associates have joined the firm. Roberta Tengerdy, Beth Lancaster and Judy Brinkley bring a wealth of experience to the SKY Sotheby’s team.

“We continue to add exceptional associates to our team, and these three are perfect examples,” said Chad Roffers, President, SKY Sotheby’s International Realty. “Not only are Roberta, Beth and Judy top producers, but they also fit the high standards we set for delivering a quality customer experience.”

Real estate agents must meet and maintain eligibility criteria to be sales associates at SKY Sotheby’s International Realty. Criteria include being ranked in the top 10 percent of all agents in the local real estate association, having an average of at least $750,000 for real estate transactions, and producing at least 12 listings or sales transactions each year.

Roberta Tengerdy grew up in Wayzata, Minnesota. There she owned an upscale gift boutique and helped the local clientele find “the perfect gift” to suit their needs. In 1995 she chose to begin a real estate career specializing in luxury homes so she could continue serving the affluent clientele she had.

“Sky Sotheby’s International Realty was the only real estate office I considered when I moved to Florida,” says Tengerdy. “I admire the way Sotheby’s understands the affluent market and knows how to position a client’s home in a global market.”

Tengerdy is based at the SKY Sotheby’s International Realty Downtown Sarasota office.

Beth Lancaster comes to Sarasota from Andover, Massachusetts, and has been a top real estate agent in this market for more than seven years. She brings both a creative spirit and a savvy approach to making each transaction a smooth process for all involved. A published poet with a previous career in advertising design helps her understand the emotional side of her clients’ desires. An accounting degree from the Burdett School in Boston, Massachusetts, and extensive market knowledge, give her the business acumen to protect her clients’ financial interests. She is based in the company’s Downtown Sarasota office.

“I know this market,” says Lancaster. “Even before starting my real estate career here seven years ago, I had visited Longboat Key for more than 12 years. And as a successful realtor I have kept pace with the changes and trends important to home buyers and sellers.”

Judy Brinkley has been described as “a consummate professional, who conducts her business with a warm personal style.”

That “warm personal style” was born in the southern charm of her Carolina roots, honed in many years of service in the airline industry, and has continued in her real estate career, which began in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2000 and moved to Sarasota in 2003.

Brinkley has teamed up with another successful associate, Judie Berger, and is based in the SKY Sotheby’s International Realty South office in Osprey. She is focusing her attention on South Sarasota, Osprey and Nokomis, an area for which she expresses a fond affection.

“I just love this area of town to live, work and play. It reflects the characteristics that drew me to Sarasota - a mix of seaside beauty, small town charm, and urban sophistication. What else could anyone ask for?”
