SKY Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that the company’s commercial real estate team recently sold two marquis properties on Siesta Key. The $7 million sale consisted of the Tropical Breeze Plaza and the popular Beach Club. SKY Sotheby’s agent David Jennings brokered the transaction.
The Tropical Breeze Plaza is a 6,000-square-foot commercial plaza that contains a restaurant, spa and offices. The Beach Club, located across the street at 5150 Ocean Boulevard, is a 6,050-square-foot restaurant and club known for its live music. The new owner intends to make various improvements to the properties ranging from external/internal renovations to new additions.
These sales at the Tropical Breeze Resort are only a few of the commercial team’s most recent successes. SKY Sotheby’s commercial division was just formed in April and has already closed or put under contract $50 million worth of property and has listed $54 million worth of property. Currently, the commercial team’s focus is on properties in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties.
