Bob and Maripat Flood are two top producing sales associates dedicated to providing exceptional service and customer care. This husband-and-wife team specializes in waterfront properties and luxury homes throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

Natives of Milwaukee, the pair originally came to Venice, Fla. in 1991 as snowbirds. Then in 1999, they moved to Sarasota permanently from Chicago. In addition to their knowledge of the Sarasota area, Bob and Maripat are highly-organized, detail-oriented agents that offer valuable expertise throughout all phases of buying or selling a home.

Prior to becoming a licensed Realtor in 2004, Maripat was an attorney. She was an associate and then partner at one of the largest law firms in the country, Sidley & Austin, for 18 years. While working at Sidley & Austin, she concentrated on corporate litigation and contracts and worked with the CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies and various international clients. Maripat earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her law degree from DePaul College of Law.

After working in the aviation industry for 18 years, Bob received his Realtor license in 2005. He served in the Air Force before starting his career as a corporate pilot. After 10 years as a pilot for several companies including Mobil Oil Corporation, he joined Global Aerospace’s Chicago office and became an assistant vice president and assistant manager for the aviation insurance company.

When not selling real estate, Maripat actively volunteers her time as a Guardian Ad Litem. This volunteer program allows any individual to apply, complete training and represent children in legal disputes concerning their custody or welfare. Maripat and Bob are also involved in the Sarasota Board of Realtors.
