The Hedge Team offers the experience of Charlotte Hedge, a former 5th grade teacher, and Realtor Associate of the Year for the state of NJ, an award she won in 1991 just prior to moving to Sarasota. She holds the prized GRI, CRS, CIPS, LTG real estate designations, and Charlotte is also a Certified International Property Specialist – a designation held by only one percent of all Realtors in the world.

Tom Hedge brings a background in construction and environmental engineering along with an understanding of condominiums and commercial properties found throughout Sarasota. Tom owned an HVAC company in NJ for 31 years before turning the reins over to their son, Jeff, who still runs the company today. Tom is also a licensed contractor, and holds the CAM license (Condominium Association Management), which he has used over the many years that he has served as President of a condo on Golden Gate Point.

Monica Barth, who studied in Germany and Switzerland, and speaks five languages, understands the needs and desires of our European and South American clients who continue to fall in love with Sarasota. As a new mother, she balances her time at home and in the office to ensure her clients the utmost in the care that the Hedge Team is noted for. Monica is working toward her CIPS designation.

Tom Hedge, Jr., an Air Force veteran with a degree in business, rounds out the team with an outstanding technology background. Tom holds the ABR designation and is working on the ePro designation. He recently celebrated his first wedding anniversary.

The Hedge Team’s love of the Sarasota experience is well demonstrated through their commitment to the Sarasota County Boys and Girls Clubs. Tom and Charlotte as past presidents, and Board members of the Year, both serve on the board of directors, along with Monica who was recently installed, while Tom Jr. generously volunteers his time as well.

Senior Team member, Charlotte, is looking ahead 5-10 years to retirement and she wanted to be sure that Tom, Jr. and Monica were well entrenched in a Company that was suited for them, their expertise, and their needs.
